Muslim leaders in Mother Russia are urging their flocks to disregard Valentine’s Day because it "preaches universal permissiveness, amorality and nihilism." SHEESH! Valentine’s Day does all that? Hardly. Let me explain to y’all. Valentine’s Day is a corporate-run holiday designed to guilt men into buying crap for their wives that they don’t need, with money they don’t have, to get a result that is not always forthcoming. Don’t believe me? Americans (mostly men) spend right around 14.7 BILLION dollars every year on crap like candy and cards and flowers. Question to all the boys out there: When was the last time you got laid ‘cause you bought your woman flowers? Candy? A Valentine’s Day card? Probably never. If y’all wanna get down to the horizontal mambo, you’d be better off buyin’ her a fifth of Jack Daniels. Yup, that’d loosen her up.

No my Muslim brothers and sisters. While your spiritual leaders take pot shots at our national holidays like teabaggers after Chocolate Elvis, they’re wrong about the whole thing. Valentine’s Day doesn’t stand for universal permissiveness, amorality or even nihilism. It stands for the rampant greed and unabashed consumerism that is the United States of America, Inc. Valentine’s Day has as much to do with sex and love as Christmas has to do with the birth of the SoG. Not a damned thing.

As Jefferson Spins in His Grave

In the land of the free and the home of the brave, they murder innocent men, women and children in the name of truth, justice and the American way.



On Monday, Mohammad Ahmad Abdallah Salih died at Guantanamo Bay. They say he committed suicide. Not so fast. He was held without charges, without bail, without a lawyer and without a trial for seven-and-a-half long years.



What was this man’s crime that he should be banished to the Hell that is Gitmo? Did he kill American soldiers? Was he a terrorist? Was he a Detroit Lions fan? Or was he just Muslim? And why does a Christian nation sit idly by while these kinds of atrocities continue? It’s shameful and sad that people who are alleged followers of JZeus would treat a person this way.



It really doesn’t matter what Salih did. He’s dead and we’ll never know. It matters that, in a country touting itself as the greatest the world has ever seen, we torture, maim and kill innocent people in the name of freedom.



Politicians, zealots and cowards would have you believe that by treating human beings this way, they’re keeping America safe. They lie. By treating human beings this way, we show the world our true nature. Americans aren’t benevolent. Americans aren’t caring and kind. Americans aren’t the holders of the moral high ground. No. Americans are petty…and weak…and scared. Americans are so afraid of “terrorists” that they’re willing to give up basic human rights for the illusion of safety, the illusion of security.




The Declaration of Independence states that “All men are created equal.” It also says that everyone has the right to “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” To ignore those fundamental principles, is to ignore who we should be – to ignore who we could be – to ignore who we are supposed to be. As long as America turns her back on the rule of law, turns her back on the principles she was founded on, turns her back on the fundamental rights of EVERY human being, she’ll continue to show the world just how hypocritical her citizens are. I guess that’s the “new” American way.

Hats Off

A student at North Valleys High School sued the Washoe County School District because she was being harassed by classmates for wearing her Islamic do-rag. She dropped out because of the threats and then sued the district. She was awarded almost a half a million dollars. Question: If getting picked on ‘cause of your religion gets you a half a mil…whadda you think some booger eatin’ spaz is gonna get because the kids made fun of his non-existent kickball skills?



Pirates take over an American cargo ship off the coast of Somalia. The U.S. government sends one navy vessel and a boatload of FBI guys to “monitor the situation.” You can call it piracy if you want but it’s terrorism pure and simple. Question: Since when does the United States negotiate with terrorists? Why not roll up with the USS Abraham Lincoln and blow the motherhubbards into Bolivia? Just askin'.

He Slammed, She Slammed, They All Slammed Islam

One of the sacred cows we love skewering here at PTB is religion. Not necessarily religion in and of itself, but the inevitable hypocrisy that goes with it. Think about it: How many Christians here in the USo’A wanted revenge after 9/11? More than you’d think. If that isn’t hypocrisy, what is?



The latest in the line of “Do what we say, not what we do” is Islam. Last month at the United Nations a group of 57 countries entered a resolution. The resolution said that offending Islamic sensitivities is a “serious affront to human dignity” which could lead to “social disharmony”, “violations of human rights” and “incitement to religious hatred in general and against Islam in particular.” Is that so? Gandhi once said, “A religion that takes no account of practical affairs and does not help to solve them is no religion.” Uh oh, did Gandhi just piss off the entire Muslim world? Aye Caramba!

Does Islam prove Gandhi right? What they’re doing here isn't solving problems or practical affairs...they're shielding their religious ideas and teachings from criticism or debate. So we’re gonna take on this magilla head on…just like you knew we would.



Serious affronts to human dignity? Ask any Muslim woman how that fuckin’ Burqa feels in the middle of a Saudi summer.



Social disharmony? Ask the ruling Mullahs of Iran what they do to “infidels” in their country.



Violations of human rights? Ask the Muslim killers of Daniel Pearl what human rights are.



Incitement to religious hatred? How many Muslims have Jewish friends or relatives? How many Catholics or Baptists or Mormons live and work in Afghanistan, or Pakistan, or Qatar? ZERO. So the next time Islam wants us to tone down the rhetoric, we’re gonna drop trou and shake our pink asses in their general direction. Now that would offend anyone.

Super Happy Fun Fun

Well…it’s Super Bowl weekend and you know what that means…the best commercials of the year!



FULL DISCLOSURE: Every time you watch television, we here at PTB make one MILLION dollars.



The best part about this year’s game is the fact that, for the first time, soldiers fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan (thanks a lot Chimp-Dick) will be able to drink beer during the big game. Ya see, soldiers are bound by the rules of the country they’re fighting in…and as in the case of Muslim countries, alcohol (and every other type of fun) is “verboten.” Not this weekend. Folks in the war zones will be allowed two (2) 12oz. beers each. Now, most people SPILL that much beer during the Super Bowl but you take what you can get. As always, we’d much rather get our brave young men and women home. ‘Til that happens, enjoy your brewskis. We miss you.

A couple of things about the 775 we noticed today…

Nevadan’s oppose GJG’s budget cuts. They also oppose higher taxes. Question: What the hell is the state gonna use for money? Casino chips?



Attorneys for BSC Michael Biela want three separate trials for their client instead of lumping the trio of crimes all into one. Do you think those ambulance chasers care about justice or are they just running up the tab? We think the latter.



According to a local expert, the big banks have no intention of giving their bailout money to small businesses. We’ve said it before, we’ll say it again…trickle down economics never has and never will work. Rich people don’t get rich because they give away their money, they get rich by hoarding it. Our solution? Trickle UP economics. When you give money to the little guys, they pay off their bills and buy things like cars and houses and electronics. That would be good for the economy but bad for the big banks. That’s why it’ll never get done.



And from the other side of the world. If your religion prohibits you from doing yoga or listening to music or watching movies or wearing certain types of clothes…you either need a different religion or you need to tell JZeus’ Dad to kiss your John Brown hind pot.

We sure hate to be a downer on the day before a holiday but SHEESH! Did you see that dude dirt napping turkeys behind VPILF Sarah Palin the other day? That video was skankier than Britney Spears’ coochie. YUCK! Makes us glad we eat pizza on Thanksgiving. We just don’t wanna see where pepperoni comes from. YIKES!



Yesterday, the RGJ headline read: “Jobless Benefits Extended for Nevadans.” It might just be the semantics of the wording but anyone who can find the benefit in being unemployed is looking at things through beer goggles.



We’ve always held the position that Islam treats its women like shit. They’ve gotta cover up from head to toe, they can’t drive and they can’t be seen in public with a man she’s not related to. Bass-ackward cave-dwelling rat-bastards. Well, it looks like things are loosening up. Yesterday a suicide bomber in Baghdad blew 13 people to smithereens. The bomber was a woman. Way to start treating women equally, douchebags. Islam better not promise women going to heaven 72 virgins. What the hell is a woman gonna do with 72 virgins? Not. Much.



A new report out there says that the Silver State needs better-educated workers. Hey, we’re all for better ed-u-ma-ca-tion, but right next to that story was the one about a proposed 25 percent tuition hike for Nevada’s colleges and universities. WTF is up with that? They say they need more educated workers then they turn around and make it financially harder for people to get into college. That sucks.



And finally today…the Little General said yesterday that if the Wolf Pack lost to La Tech this weekend but got invited to a bowl game anyway, he’d seriously consider not going. Yeah, right.


The chances of Nevada finishing 6-6? Maybe. The chances of Nevada finishing 6-6 and getting a bowl berth?...ANY bowl berth? Maybe. The chances of Chris Ault & Cary Groth declining a bowl invite...ANY bowl invite? Never. Gonna. Happen.

Another One Bites The Dust

We love the girls here at PTB. We're of the opinion that if more of them were movers and shakers, we wouldn't be in the shit-storm we're in.


Now comes the news that Benazir Bhutto of Pakistan got capped today. Isn't it funny how the good get got early and the asses just keep getting bigger?
