Little Chickenshits

Ya know, I’m pretty damned disappointed. For weeks now the tighty-righties have been skidmarking their Underoos over President Barack Hussein Obama’s speech to the nation's school kids. They said that the ‘Bamer’s speech was gonna turn ‘em all into little left-win socialists. Guess what? It didn’t happen.

I guess I should’ve known it’d turn out this way. It’s the “Boy Who Cried Wolf Syndrome.” Remember back in the day when reflublicans warned us to stock up on supplies and duct tape our houses shut ‘cause the bad guys were gonna attack any minute? I do. BOOGITYBOOGITYBOOGITY! No attack. Remember back in ’04 when the right-wing nutcases said that if a democrat was elected President, the United States would be less safe? I do. I don’t think John Kerry could have made us less safe on purpose than the Bush-Wipe did in those four years.

Yup…the tinfoil hat wearin’ right just loves scarin’ the bejeezus outta folks. And it used to work, Here’s hoping the American public will see through the bullshit now.

The liberal media has trained you well, PJ. Lies, distortions and half-truths just flow right out of your mouth and like the good little brown shirt - you actually believe it to be true. Your turn to the dark side is pretty much complete. I like that you care PJ. It's great to know you have such heart and such passion... now if you only had a brain.. The objections werent to the speech itself. Nobody knew what he was going to say. The problem was the lesson plan from the so called Department of Education which was put out in advance of the speech.

This from the Heritage.org website:

The lesson plans – one plan for pre-K-6 students and another plan for students in grades 7-12 – provided specific activities and assignments for children to do before, during, and after the president’s speech. The pre-k-6 plan instructs teachers to ask children “Why is it important that we listen to the President and other elected officials…” It further directs teachers to have children consider the following while listening to Obama’s speech:

“What is the President trying to tell me?”
“What is the President asking me to do?”
“What new ideas and actions is the President challenging me to think about?”
The plan continues, “Students can record important parts of the speech where the President is asking them to do something. Students might think about: What specific job is he asking me to do…Are we able to do what President Obama is asking of us?”

This of course was altered somewhat after the outcry. If you're trying to tell me if GWB put out such a lesson plan that you wouldn't be in full scale bowel evacuation mode and full liberal hissy fit you're fooling yourself. (but not me).
If GWB had mentioned a need for a civillian defence force as large, as well funded and as strong as the US Military you would need to be restrained. What's the deal with that?? His own army of brownshirts?

The lesson plan has it completely ass backwards. It is not important for us to listen to our politicians.. it is important for THEM to listen to us. We are not their subjects. They work for us.
