Five Feet High and Rising

It was a natural disaster of epic proportions. Scores dead. Thousands missing. The injured and homeless wandering the streets waiting for help that was slow to come.

The government cheese dragging their feet -- woefully unprepared for a disaster of this magnitude.

Food, water and medical supplies from around the world sitting on tarmacs and in fields – not going to those in need but going to waste.

Politicians making promises while bureaucratic red tape hampers rescue efforts.

Yeah…it might suck in Myanmar right now…but we were talking closer to home. We were talking about New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. The only difference between the BSC Generals running that country and the BSC Bush-wipes running this one is the amount of fruit salad they wear on their lapels.

Leave it to Beaver(s)

Check it...if a couple of fuzzy rat-bastards can flood an entire city, whadda ya think a few dozen evil-minded BSC's can do?

Bridges crumblin' to shit.

Levees softer than Oreos in milk.

Dams that haven't been upgraded since Orville and Wilbur were still in their Underoos.

Infrastructure is as important a national security concern as anything. But we treat it like it was a smog check or an oil change -- only do it when you have to while paying as little as possible. Guess what folks, the engine light just came on. Are we gonna pay the man now or are we gonna pay him later?

Burn Rubber

The Golden State is turning a crispy, golden brown.

Governor Steroid has declared a State of Emergency and the government is mobilizing everyone in an effort to help.

Quick question to the government-cheese out there (we’re talking to YOU cracker!)…

Are the quick actions to save lives and property ‘cause Malibu is bourgie white?

To put it another way…if all these flames were scorching the brown-skinded brothers and sisters down in the Big Easy…would you have been so quick to help?

We know the answer…it was a rhetorical question.
