Yesterday, the ‘Bamer said he’s gonna stop the release of hundreds of photos that show G.I. Joes abusing prisoners. He said the release of the photos would, “…further inflame anti-American opinion and to put our troops in greater danger.” Listen Barry-O…American troops are fighting two unnecessary wars with little rest and crappy gear. They’re already in great danger – a couple of pictures won’t change that. The president went on to say, "the individuals who were involved have been identified, and appropriate actions have been taken." How do we know? How can we believe you? After eight years of hearing Government-Cheese Dicks telling us “Things are being taken care of,” we’re a little leery of believing y’all right now.

Look Mr. President, it’s understandable that you’re politically scared. After all, Dr. Evil and Fat Man have already laid the blame for the next terrorist attack on you and your policies. But those policies look an awful lot like the policies of the Bush-Wipe and his administration. Where is the change you promised us? This is America. We don’t keep secrets from our citizens (anymore). We’re grownups. Release the photos and let Americans decide if you’ve taken care of business. Keep ‘em secret and you’re no better than the right-wing nut jobs who held your office the last two terms. Remember how that turned out?

Thursday Thought Bubbles

VPILF Sarah Palin is prepping for tonight’s battle with Joey the Shark by goin’ to…get this…GOP Debate Camp. WTF do they teach you there? How to confuse Shiite and Sunni? How to pee with a wide stance? The proper display and disposal of flag pins? Or maybe you learn how weather patterns are affected by gay sex. Either way, we’re looking forward to the debate more than a Rastafarian looking forward to the first spliff after a urine test.





One more thought on the VPILF. The other day she was asked if she knew of any SCOTUS decisions she disagreed with besides Roe v Wade. She couldn’t think of one. Here at PTB our most hated decision is Santa Clara County v. Southern Pacific Railroad, but we’re civics geeks. Hell, wanna bet if she was asked which SCOTUS decisions she agreed with, she couldn’t come up with one of those either? Guess now we know what Dan Quayle would have looked like with boobs.



Number nerds have figured that Barack Obama is more likely to live out his presidential term than John McCain. Hmmm…think so? The slide rule smarty pants suggest McCain’s age and health make him a prime candidate to take a dirt nap while in office. We disagree. As soon as the ‘Bamer moves in to the White House the clock is ticking. Bass-ackward, redneck, inbred, hillbilly crackers will be lining up to JFK him. There’s nothing whitey hates more than a successful brown-skinded brother. Well, maybe a successful woman.




How come when Heath Ledger, the creepy Olsen Twin, Rush Limbaugh, Heather Locklear and their ilk get busted with ‘scripts, no one gets charged with a crime but when Snowboarding Spicoli gets caught with the kind on his way to Burning Man he gets Abu Ghraibed? Just asking.




Closer to home…The Environmental Protection Agency says that Yucca Mountain has to be designed to protect against excessive radiation exposure to residents of the 702 for up to…wait for it…a million years. SHEESH! Who’s gonna be around if the motherhubbard starts leaking in 3008? That’s only a thousand years. Heck, the EPA can’t even make sure FEMA trailers are free of asbestos. How’re they gonna pull this off?




Finally…y’all know we love our dogs here at PTB. In the Sunshine State our counterpart is Greg LeNoir. Last week GLeN was swimming with his rat terrier when Jaws III popped in from out of nowhere and started doin’ the reverse McGruff. Seeing his pup turning into a taste test, GLeN jumped in and pulled an Ali on the fish. BAM! Down goes Frazier! Human and canine came out of it with minor scratches…the shark reportedly wants a rematch down in ‘Vegas.

Stack 'Em All...Let God Sort 'Em Out

Anyone remember Lynndie England? Anyone? Bueller? Well, here at PTB our memories are longer than John Holmes’ woody…we remember.



Pfc. England is the moon-faced cherub who gets off stackin’ men “Giza” style. Yeah, she likes her some nude Twister -- tokin’ on a ciggy, pointin’ and smirkin that BSC little smirk of hers. She’s the kind of pervert that tiddles her thingy at night while fantasizing about abusing “towelheads.”
Just when you thought Pfc.E’s fifteen minutes had come and gone she’s back. Earlier this week she was coppin’ a ‘tude when she told a German newspaper that, “…what we did happens in war. It just isn't documented,".”



She’s got a point there but that kind of stuff should never happen at the hands of an American soldier. That might be how the Nazis rolled or how the commies rolled or how WWII Japan rolled but that’s not how we roll. That’s why you were a guest of the government at the Gray Bar Motel.



She went on to blame the media for the shit-storm, “…I felt pissed off,” she said. “If the media hadn't exposed the pictures to that extent, then thousands of lives would have been saved. If it had been broken by the news without the pictures it wouldn't have been that big." Talk about killing the messenger.
So, in her twisted logic, if the network news wouldn’t have showed the towers coming down on 9/11, it wouldn’t have been as big a deal. Talk about a tree falling in the forest…SHEESH!



Listen up you bass-ackward, uneducated, redneck…what you did (and what we’re STILL doing) to those prisoners in Abu Ghraib is torture, it is un-American and it is wrong (Are you listening Bush-Wipes?). The media did what the media is supposed to do – report the story. None of this happened because of the media. It happened because you and your cronies are immature, skeevy, abusive, power-trippin’, sadists. That’s the kind of behavior that pisses off the bad guys!



Look, you can nude pyramid all you like in the privacy of your own whatever. But when you’re wearin’ the uniform of the United States Army, your reprehensible conduct should be dealt with harshly. Like strippin’ YOU nude and stackin’ y’all in a pile. We’d pay to see that.
